About Matthew Ball

Matthew Ball is a fourth-generation Apostolic minister, author, and the World Missions Director for the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ.
With a deep passion for discipleship and missions, Matthew has dedicated his life to helping believers become true followers of Jesus Christ — not just in name, but in heart and lifestyle. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of Faith Apostolic Church in Carmel, Indiana, where he and his wife, Jamie, have ministered together for over 25 years.
Ministry and Calling
Matthew began preaching as a teenager and has served in numerous leadership roles, including Indiana District Presbyter, National Home Missions Director, and Asia-Pacific Regional Field Supervisor.
As World Missions Director, he oversees global missions efforts, equipping and supporting missionaries around the world while continuing to preach the Gospel with boldness and clarity. His ministry is marked by a strong emphasis on practical discipleship, spiritual depth, and staying faithful in a hostile culture.

Family

Matthew and Jamie were married in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1989 by Matthew’s father, David Ball, and Jamie’s Pastor, Bishop Billy McCool. THey are blessed with three children: Chelsea, Chandler, and Chloe.
Chelsea lives in the New York City area and works with children. Chandler lives in Tampa and is on staff at Tampa Life Church. Chloe is married to Isaiah Comer and both she and her husband work with Matthew and Jamie at Faith Apostolic Church of Carmel
World Missions
Born into a missions-minded family, Matthew carries a deep burden for the nations. His grandparents were missionaries in Colombia, Cuba, and Puerto Rico. This rich heritage continues to fuel his passion for global evangelism.
In his role as World Missions Director, Matthew works to raise awareness, resources, and workers for the harvest, believing the Great Commission remains the Church’s highest calling.
